fileNice opened to the community :: 16 November 10
Even though it's about 2 years since I last updated fileNice it still has an active user base and new users still download it every day. Sadly I have very little spare time to devote to fileNice these days though so I've decided to simply open it up to the community to patch it, fork it, fix it, skin it and generally do whatever they like with it.
The project is now hosted on
bitbucket.org where anyone who wants to get involved can simply clone the repository and make changes. This move may also actually spur me to get a little more involved myself if I ever find the time.

I am about to start working on a background project to use fileNice and modify it to log and/or update a MySQL table on each download..
Is anyone doing anything like that? If not, I will be…low priority project…
