fileNice 1.1 :: 27 October 08

Thanks to Christian Bloch, fileNice has come out of hibernation with some bug fixes and enhancements. For your file browsing pleasure, Christian has...

* fixed the spaces in folder/filenames issue
* made it work with capitalised extensions
* added subdirectory encoding: This is pretty cool, you can now send out links to subdirectories that are treated as an artificial root level. Clicking the > symbol next to a folder will take you in to browsing that folder.
* UBB code in all file details
* added auto-select text to all the code fields.
* contributed a dark skin

Thanks Christian, you rock.

Additionally, I've fixed a security issue with the search. Upgrading is advisable.

    add ,“tif” to the line that starts with: $imgTypes

    You should be all set.

  5. First of all, thanks for your great job, this is exactly the kinf of file browser I was searching for. But (there is always a “but”), I found a bug. Indeed, I installed it on my Synology NAS, which add an “@eaDir” in all directory (and subdirectory, and sub-subdirectory etc..) of my hard drive. I add the “@eaDir” entry in the ignoreFolders array in the pref file. It works for the root directory, but not for the children (example, I have a doc folder, if I open it I can see the famous “@eaDir”). If you have any idea of the problem, it would be faster to correct it (I do not really have the time to dive into your source code).

    Once again, thanks for your job !
    Note : sorry for my frenglish.

  8. @Pierre – Probably too late for a response but adding the following line to line 69

    if(!in_array($file,$this->ignoreFolders)){

    and add a } to line 103 of FileNice.php will allow recursive folder checks on the ignoreFolders array.

  10. Excellent application! was just what I needed. But I have a little problem. In the directory with pictures, when I use the buttons Prew and next to see the pictures, do not open in order of name, but in random order. It also ignores some pictures, but if I go to select the directory tree of images opens them normally. I do not understand the reason for this behavior. Do you have any advice?
    Sorry for the bad English ..

  12. Great program. 2 additions would be great.An Upload and a preview that would show images with the same name of the files. The slideshow is cool but doesn’t help if you have files that are zipped but would like people to see what that file is.
